The
drainfields must be relocat¢~ farther up slope onto the
straight slope of the hillside,

It appears that the mobil home will need to be rotated
about 90 degrees to the position as currently flagged. If
so, that will allow the septic tank and drainfields to be
sited farther up slope within the appropriate area.
suggest that you meet w~th your septic system installer
and field-stake the individual drainfield lines of both
the original and the replacement fields before you site
the well to ensure that the required I00 minimum feet
separation between the well and drainfields is main-
tained.

The ~ystem for a one through four bedroom residence will
include a 1000 gallon septic tar~k and 450 lineal feet of
drainfield. Serial distribution must be used with tha
drainfield line trenches limited to 24 inches deep mini-
mum/maximum. Avoid the area of old fill material from the
cul-de-sac excavation.

I hope this report will help you develop a plot plan to
submit with your septic permit application. Call, if you
have any questions. I am usually in the office between 8
and I0 ~.

SOIL SCIENTIST

Senator gu/lding , 220 High Street NE Salem, Oregon 97301-3670
