KAILEY <br />93-2718 <br /> <br /> Your site has been found suitable for a SAND FILTBR ALTERNATIVE SEWAGE <br />DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction s~ecifications shall apply to the <br />installation ~f your septic system. <br /> <br /> 1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 <br /> gallons. <br /> <br /> 2. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is salculated at <br /> 450 ~allons Der day. Based on soil conditions observed on this <br /> site, the disposal field will be sized at ,45 ~ineal feet per <br /> qallonS of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum Of 135 lineal <br /> fee~ of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- <br /> mont. The disposal tren0hos are constructed two (2) feet wide and <br /> on minimum ten (I0) foo~ centers and with no line exceeding 125 <br /> feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed <br /> level (Zl") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. <br /> <br /> 3. The disposal field shall be constructed with equal distributio~ <br /> with a minimum t~ench depth of ~ and a maximum trench <br /> depth of 12 inche~. TheNe must be at least ,~6 inches of backfill <br /> over the top of the gravel, measured from =he natural ground <br /> <br />The sand filter system shall be designed and operated a~ pe~ OAR <br />340-?1-290 through 340-71-305. Detailed plans for the system must <br />be submitted prxor to permit issuance. A building permit is <br />requi~d if a site built concrete box i~ used a~ the sand filter <br />container. A pamphlet is available is our office which details the <br />requirements for a sand filter syst~. <br /> <br /> An effluent lift pump may be necessary to construct the disposal field <br />in the approved area and at the correct depth. <br /> <br /> A capping fill is required with this system. The system shall b~ <br />constructed as indicated on the attached Capping Fill ~ons~r~ction detail <br />sheet. <br /> <br /> This approval is site specifi~ to the area tested and the septic system <br />must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- <br />rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is <br />proposed for a different area on the property. <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS= <br /> The drainfields must be construsted within the immediate area of the <br /> southerly test pit on the highest surface possible. Avoid the northerly <br /> pit which is dug within a concave landform. A ~re-construction fiel~ <br /> stakeout is ~eoon~en~ed to establish the 1ooatiens and elevations of the <br /> individual drainfield lines of both drainfields. Well construction and <br /> all excavation should be deferred pending the pre-construction stakeout. <br /> Refer to the stakeout ~rocedure and the setback list for details to <br /> complete the stakeout.
