October 19, 1993 APPLICANT: SITE NUMBER: FRANKLIN & DELOUSES WILLIAHS 93-3085 Your site has been found suitable for a CAPPING FILL ALTERNATIVE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The .following constriction specifications shall apply to the installation of your septic system. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid ea~aeity o£ 1000 gallons. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at 450 ~allon~ Der day. Based on soil conditions observed on this site, the disposal field will be sized at 150 lineal f~et~er 1~0 ~allons of projected daily ~ewage flew. A minimum of 450 lineal ~ of disposal field will be req~i=ed fo= you~ proposed develop- meet. The disposal trenches are sonst~ucted two (2) feet wide and On minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 feet in length. The ~renehes and perforated pipe are installed level (~1") and contoured to fellow the natural ground surface. The disposal fleld shall be constructed with serial ~istribstion with a minimum trench depth of 12 inc~e$ aBd a maximum trench depth of 12 inches. The ~a~i~g ~ill material must be inspected and approved prior to placement. The fill shall be of the same textural class~ or one class finer, than the native topsoil. The disposal field area must be scarified tO destroy any vegetativ~ mat on the surface. (ind~ so~l molse~0n~i%ions 4. The site m~st be protected from traffic, livestock, farming or other damaging activities. A groundwater interceptor is req~i~ed as part of this system. This ~ntercepto~ trench must be constructed a minimum twelve (1~} inches wide by 30 inches deep with 24 inches of clean gravel plased ove~ a four (4) inch smooth wall perforated pip~. The in~erceptor must be located at least ten (10} feet upslope from the disposal field and must d~scharqe through a watertight, non- perforated pipe beside or below the disposal field, A ~eparation of 25 feet is required from She septic tank if the tank is located upslope of the groundwa~ ter int~rceptor. An effluent lift pump may be necessary to construct the disposal field in the approved area and at the correct depth. This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- rized by this office. A new site e~aluation ~ay be requited if the system is proposed for a different area on the property. SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Oonstruct the draisfields within the immediate area of the soil test pits. There is a moderate to s~ver~ rock hazard associated with drain- field construction. Reck larger than six inches mus~ be removed from backfill material.
