DETROIT, OREGON 97342
SEPTIC SYSTEM FAILURE, SYSTEM BACKING UP.

I stopped by the property described above upon notice of
a possible septic system problem. The system was reported
as overflowing at the back of the house. I was able to
confirm that there is a problem which must be corrected
as soon as possible to eliminate the health hazard of
sewage effluent onto the ground surface.

Our records indicate a partial substandard repair to the
septic system September 30, 1991. Only the drainfield
seepage trenches were constructed at that time with an
inspection request to complete the repair by properly
abandoning the old undersized septic tank and replacing
it with a new 1000 gallon full code tank.

The septic repair permit expired April 22, 1992. A new
permit must be secured to complete the repair. Please
make application for the permit through the city of
Detroit at the earliest Opportunity.

Call, if you have any questions.
office between 8 and 10 AM.

LEE A.
