Assigned street numbers shall be <br />painted or affixed to the front of the dwetIing ~n a contrasting and highly <br />vJsib]~ co]or, not 1;ss than four (4) inches in height. <br /> <br />This inspection includes checking construction and code requirements for decks <br />and steps, skirting and underfloor ventilation and access. <br /> <br />A REINSPECTION FEE OF $68.88 shall be assessed for each inspection beyond the <br />permitted three inspections or (1) when the permit card is not posted <br />on the job site; (2) for failure to provide access on the date for which <br />the inspection is requested, (3) when the work for which an inspection is <br />re0uested is not complete, (4) when the manuTactured dwelling is not installed <br />peF 1996 Manufacture~ Dwelling Standards; (5) for failing to-attach an installer's <br />certification tag, or (6) when required corrections are not made. FREILINGER ON 4/29/96. <br /> 2. Approval of submitted plans is not an approval of omissions <br /> or oversights by this office or of noncompliance with any <br /> applicable regulations of local government. <br /> ~. The <br /> maximum stair rise is 8 inches. When risers are <br /> closed, al! treads may have a uniform projection not to <br /> exceed I and 1/2 inches. The greatest riser height shall <br /> not exceed the smallest by More than 3/8 inch. lR-21~.1) <br /> 8. Handrails Meeting the following reguirements shall be <br /> provided on at least one side of stairways. The handgrip <br /> portion of handrails shall be not more than 2 5/8 inches in <br /> cross-sectional diMension~ or the shape shall provide an <br /> equivalent gripping surface. Handrails shall be Mounted <br /> between a Minimum of 38 inches and a MaXimum of 38 inches. <br /> They shall be continuous the full length of the stairs. <br /> Ends shall be returned or shall terminate in newel posts or <br /> safety terminals. <br /> (R-21a. 1) <br /> 9. A minimum ~' x ~' landing shall be required on each side of <br /> an egress door. The floor or landing shall not be More <br /> than one and one-half inches lower t~an the top of the <br /> threshold.
