Based on the results of this study. <br />site approval has been granted. This approval is specific to the area tested, and the system <br />must be installed in the immediate area of the test pits. <br /> <br />Soils in the approved area shall not be altered or Modified by cutting, filling, or other <br />activities which would impede tbs successful operation of the septic system. Observe all <br />required setback/separation distances during the installation of the system. <br /> <br />Keep this document with your records. Give a copy of this permit to the septic system <br />installer prior to the installation of the system. Any deviation from the approved plan <br />must have prior approval from this office. <br /> <br />The following construction specifications shall apply to the installation of the septic system: <br /> TYPE OF REPLACEMENT SYSTEM: CAPPING FILL <br /> <br /> MINIMUM SEPTIC TANK CAPACITY: 1088 GALLONS <br /> LINEAL FEET OF DRAINFIELD: 458 <br /> TYPE OF DISTRIBUTION: LOOP <br /> DISPOSAL TRENCH DEPTH: 12INCHES, MINIMUM; 12INCHES, MAXIMUM <br /> TOTAL DRAIN MEDIA DEPTH: 12INCHES <br /> DRAIN MEDIA UNDER PIPE: 6INCHES <br /> MINIMUM SOIL BACKFILL: 16INCHES <br /> GROUND WATER INTERCEPTOR: N <br /> <br /> The disposal trenche§ are constructed two (2) feet wide and on minimum ten (18) foot <br /> centers and with no line exceeding 125 feet in length. The trenches and perforated <br /> pip~ are installed level (+/- one inch) and contoured to follow the natural ground <br /> <br />COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS <br /> <br />1. THIS SEPTIC REVIEW WAS COMPLETED BY LEE GRIMES ON JUNE 26. <br /> 1796. SOIL CONDITIONS ARE MARGINAL FOR A CAPPING FILL REPAIR <br /> SYSTEM. THE REPLACEMENT DRAINFIELD MUST BE CONSTRUCTED WITH- <br /> IN THE IMMEDIATE AREA OF THE CENTER TWO TEST PITS. REFER TO <br /> THE SITE PLAN DATED JULY 5. 1996. TALL GRASS MUST BE REMOVED <br /> FROM THE DRAINFIELD SITE TO FACILITATE RQTO-TILLING, BUT USE <br />CARE NOT TO ALTER THE NATURAL TOPSOIL PRIOR TO INSTALLATION. <br />A FIELD STAKEOUT IS RECOMMENDED TO CONFIRM THE LOCATIONS AND <br />ELEVATIONS OF THE INDIVIDUAL DRAINFIELD LINES. AN EFFLUENT <br />PUMP WILL BE NECESSARY TO INSTALL THE DRAINFIELD WITHIN THE <br />APPROVED AREA AT THE CORRECT DEPTH. ELECTRICAL PERMIT AND <br />iNSPECTION NEEDED FOR PUHP STATION AND ALARM INSTALLATION. <br />2. Th~ ~rt'tached ORANGE CARD must be posted at the county~ road. <br />3. lhP site must be protected from traffic, livestock, farming <br />or other damaoing activities. <br />4. This system midst be inspected prior to cover. To request <br />an inspection of completed work, call 588-7904 (24-hour <br />line). When requesting the ~nspection, be sure to give <br />installer's name~ phone number~ size of tank, and total <br />length of drainfield. Inspection wi].l be completed within <br />seven days of request. <br />5. A capping fill drainfield is required in conjunction with <br />~he septic system approval. See the attached Cappinq Fill <br /> information sheet for instructions. -- - <br />6.
