Provide an access crawl hole ~o the underfloor space. The ~ini~u~ size opening ~equired is 18 inches by 24 inches. (R-311.2) 7. Stair~axs shall not be less than 3 feet in clear width and the headroo~ shall no~ be less than & feet 8 inches. The ~ini~u~ required stair tread width is 9 inches. The ~axi~u~ stair rise is 8 inches. When risers are closed~ ali tTeads ~ay have a unifor~ projection not to exceed 1 and 1/2 inches. The greatest riser heigh~ shall not exceed ~he s~allesf by ~ore ~han 3/8 inch. 1R-213.1) 8.
