An inspection determined that it did not appear adequate to serve the purpose proposed. <br />Based on the results of this study, site approval has been ~ranted for the installation of a <br />new szstem. This approval is site specific and must be installed according to the following <br />specifications and the attached site plan. <br /> <br />Soils in the approved area shall not be altered or modified by cutting, filling, or other' <br />activities which would impede t~e successful operation of the septic system. Observe all <br />requireo setback/separation distances during the installation of the system. <br /> <br />Keep this document with your records. Give a 9opy or this permit to the septic system <br />installer prior to the installation of the system. Any deviation from the approved plan <br />must have prior approval from this office. <br /> <br />The follow~ng construction specifications shall apply to the installation of the septic system: <br /> TYPE OF REPLACEMENT SYSTEM: CAPPING FILL <br /> <br /> MINIMUM SEPTIC TANK CAPACITY: 1B0~ OALLONS <br /> LINEAL FEET OF DRAINFIELD: 450 <br /> TYPE OF DISTRIBUTION: EQUAL <br /> DISPOSAL TRENCH DEPTH: 12INCHES, flININUM~ 12INCHESs MAXIMUM <br /> TOTAL DRAIN MEDIA DEPTH: 12INCHES <br /> DRAIN MEOIA UNDER PIPE: ~INCHES <br /> MINIMUM SOIL BACKFILL: leINCHES <br /> GROUND WATER INTERCEPTOR: <br /> <br /> The disposaI trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and on minimum ten (10) foot <br /> centers arid ~it~ no line exqeeding 125. fee~ in ~ength. T~e ~renches and perforated <br /> pipe are installed level (+/- one inch~ a~o con,outed to tolio~ the natural groune <br /> surface. <br /> <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS <br /> <br /> 1. THIS SEPTIC REVIEW WAS COMPLETED BY LEE GRIMES ON JUNE 23 <br /> 1997. SOIL COHDITIOflS AT THE TEST PITS ARE MARGINAL TO <br /> SIDER AH ALTERNATIVE CAPPING FILL SYSTEM. THE SYSTEM MUST BE <br /> CONSIDERED AS A FUTURE REPAIR FOR THE EXISTING MOBILE HOME. <br /> IT WILL BE USED FOR A TEMPORARY HARDSHIP CONNECTION. AS A <br /> REPAIR THE TANK SHOULD ~E L.~CATED TO SERVE THE EXISTING HONE <br /> WHEN THE USE BECOMES NECESSARY. AN EFFLUENT PUMP MAY BE RE- <br /> QUIRED TO INSTALL THE DRAINLINES WITHIN THE APPROVED AREA AT <br /> THE CORRECT DEPTH. OBSERVE ALL USUAL SETBACK AND SEPARATION <br /> DISTANCES. FOLLOW THE CAPPINg FILL CONSTRUCTION PROCEDURE <br /> AND INSPECTION SCHEDULE. THE CAPPING FILL MATERIAL MUST BE <br /> APPROVED PRIOR TO PLACEMENT. PRE-PERMIT STAKEOUT RECOMMENDED <br /> 2, The at~ached ORANGE CAR~ must be,posted at the count% road. <br /> ~. The site must be protected from traffic, livestock~ farming <br /> or other damaging activities. <br /> 4. A capping fill drainfield is required in condunction with <br /> the. septic, system approval.. See. the attached Capping Fill <br /> information sheet for instructions. <br /> S. CAPPING FILL SYSTENS shall be constructed between June 1 <br /> a~d October 1 or during such ~i~es when Building Inspection <br /> staff fines soil moisture conoitions acceptable. The <br /> ~APPIHG FILL material must be inspected and a~proved prior <br /> to placement. The fill shall be of the same textural <br /> class, or one class finer~ than the native topsoil. The <br /> disposal field area must be scarified to destroy any <br /> vegetative,mat on t~e surface. ~ill mater~,shal~ be <br /> evenly graoed to a zioal depth oz sixteen ~io~ inches over <br /> <br /> <br />
