21. FIRESTOPPING shall be provided in the following locations: <br />1) In concealed spaces of stud wails, including furred spaces not to exceed 10 feet ho <br />dzontally, and at the ceiling and floor level. <br />2) At all interconnections between concealed vertical and horizontal spaces such as occur at <br />soffits, drop or cove ceilings, etc. <br />3) In concealed spaces between stair stdngem at the top and bottom of the mn and wall cavities <br />in line with the stdngem; <br />4) At openings around vents, pipes, ducts, chimneys and fireplaces at ceiling and floor level, with <br />noncombustible rnatedals. [Sec. 602.7] <br /> <br />22. COMBUSTION AIR. Fuel buming equipment shall be provided with a suff~cient supply of <br />air for fuel combustion, draft hood dilution and ventilation of the space in which the equipment is <br />installed. Plans do not show how combustion air is going to be provided. See the manufacture- <br />r's installation instructions and Chapter 20 of the State of Oregon One and Two Family Dwelling <br />Specialty Code for guidance. [Sec. 2001.1] <br /> <br />23.
