Box 23184 <br />8430 SW Hunziker Suite 100 <br />~gard, OR g7281 <br /> <br />(Medium send sources usually approved include: Columbia River Sand & Gravel <br /> <br />FILTER FABRIC: Meet OAR 340-73-041 as in CEREX 25 or DUPOUNT TYPAR 3201 <br /> <br />DEQ allows lowest fabric of the send filter to be deleted when UNDERDRAIN MEDIA complies <br />with; It shall be dean, washed pea gravel with these percents passing: <br /> <br />Sieve # % Passinq: <br /> <br />1/2" 100% <br />114" 18-100% <br />#4 5 - 75% <br />#10 24% or less <br />#16 2% or less <br />#100 1% or less <br /> <br />**Underdrain media may also be used around the pressure laterals. <br /> <br />Drain media (except crushed rock) may be used in the lower portion of the send filter in place of <br />underdrain media, but filter fabric is required to be placed between the medium send and the <br />lower drain media and other requirements must be met. If you desire to use such, contact the <br />designer or regulatory authority. <br /> <br />DRAIN MEDIA: <br /> <br />Clean, washed gravel, me~s~a=k having a minimum size of 3/4" and a maximum size of <br />· ,1/2". Crushed rock is not permitted in the send filter due to a potential to puncture the 30 <br />mil PVC liner <br /> <br />SEWAGE GENERATING FACILITY: <br /> <br />Single family home not> 4 bedrooms. A home having three (3) bedrooms is planned. (Projected daily <br />sewage flow = 450 gpd) Sand filter and disposal trench design flow (Q = 450 gpd), (The actual flow to <br />the system is expected to average 225 gpd) <br /> <br />SOIL ABSORPTION FACILITY: <br /> <br />108 f. as equal dL~tribution trenches using a single distribution box. Trenches not more than 36" nor <br />less than 18". Trenches will have 6" typical drain media below pipe with a total rock depth of 12 <br /> <br />SEPTIC TANK: <br /> <br />Acceptable equipment: 1,100 gallon (total volume) DoNnq septic tank and concrete by <br />R. J. Michaels Precest Concrete Products of Bodng, Oregon (668-4073). Equipped with OSI PVC vault <br />and pumping equipment es listed on plan sheets, by Orenco Systems of Sutherlin, OR (541) 459 ~.~.~.9). <br />Dose volume not to exceed 10% of the projected daily sewage flow or approx. 45 gal. (about 2" in a <br />Michaels dosing septic tank). Timed dosing is proposed. ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
