No evidence of failure was found and the system appeared to be <br />functioning in a satisfactory manner, The septic tank was pumped and inspected on 08/28/96 <br />by TBS <br /> <br />This notice is issued with the recommendation that the septic tank be pumped and inspected by <br />a licensed septic tank pumper approximately every five years, This notice does not guarantee <br />satisfactory or continuous operation of the existing on-site sewage disposal system. <br /> <br />Planning approval may also be required for any proposed development of the property. <br /> <br />COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS <br /> <br />1. THIS SEPTIC REVIEW WAS COMPLETED BY LEE GRIMES ON JUNE 24, <br /> 1998. THIS REVIEW IS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PROPOSED <br /> PROPERTY PARTITION. NO APPARENT CONFLICT OR FAILURE WAS <br /> NOTICED, SPACE FOR FUTURE REPAIRS IS AVAILABLE JUST ABOVE <br /> AND BELOW THE EXISTING DRIVEWAY. REFER TO REVISED SITE PLAN <br /> DATED JUNE 26. 1998, OUR RECORDS INDICATE THAT THE EXISTING <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED OCTOBER 17, 1989, IT INCLUDES A <br /> 1000 GALLON CONCRETE TANK AND 450 FEET OF DRAINFIELD PRO- <br /> TECTED WITH AN UP-SLOPE CURTIAN DRAIN, WE RECOMMEND THAT <br /> THE TANK BE POMPED ABOUT EVERY FOUR TO FIVE YEARS TO EXTEND <br /> THE SYSTEM'S USEFUL SERVICE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE, <br />2, THE ATTACHED ORANGE CARD MUST BE POSTED AT THE COUNTY ROAD <br /> prior to requesting an inspection, The card must be located <br /> near the driveway to the property to assist the inspector in <br /> locating the access onto the site, <br />2. THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any <br /> vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities, Other <br /> activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway <br /> placement or any similar activities may also damage the soil <br /> in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. <br /> The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair <br /> system must both be protected, <br /> <br /> <br />
