SEPTIC PERMIT <br />DATE/TIME : 05/07/98 13:53 PERMIT NO <br />TYPE : SP STATUS <br /> ISSUED <br /> TO EXPIRE <br /> PAGE <br /> <br />98-02943 <br />ISSUED <br />05/07/1998 <br />05/07/1999 <br />2 <br /> <br />SEPTIC PERMIT <br /> <br />This property was previously evaluated 04/26/1991 for the feasibility to install a <br />septic system for a RESIDENTIAL building site. Based on the results of this study, site <br />approval was granted, The approval is site specific to the area tested, and the septic <br />system must be located in the immediate area of the test pits, unless otherwise authorized <br />by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is proposed for a <br />different area on the property. <br /> <br />This approval was given on the basis that the lot or parcel will not be further partitioned <br />or subdivided amd that conditions on this property and on adjacent properties are not altered <br />in any manner which would prohibit the issuance of a permit, Soils in the approved area <br />shall not be altered by cutting, filling, or other developmental activities wnich would <br />impede the successful operation of the initial or replacement absorption systems, Failure <br />to comply with the above items may void this approval. <br /> <br />The site evaluation approval runs with the land, but the permit is non-transferable and non- <br />refundable. <br /> <br />Keep this document with your records. Show this permit to the septic installer prier to <br />installation of the system. Any deviation from the approved plan must have prior approval from <br />this office. <br /> <br />The following construction specifications shall apply to the installation of the initial <br />septic system: <br /> <br />TYPE OF INITIAL SYSTEM: STANDARD <br /> <br />MINIMUM SEPTIC TANK CAPACITY: 1000 GALLONS <br /> LINEAL FEET OF DRAINFIELD: 300 <br /> TYPE OF DISTRIBUTION: SERIAL <br /> DISPOSAL TRENCH DEPTH: 24INCHES. MINIMUM: 24INCHES, MAXIMUM <br /> TOTAL DRAIN MEDIA DEPTH: 12INCHES <br /> DRAIN MEDIA UNDER PIPE: 6INCHES <br /> MINIMUM SOIL BACKFILL: 12INCHES <br /> GROUND WATER INTERCEPTOR: N <br /> <br />The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and on minimum ten (10) foot centers <br />and with no line exceeding 125 feet in length, The trenches and perforated pipe are <br />installed level (+/- one inch) and contoured to follow the natural ground surface, <br /> <br />TYPE OF FUTURE REPLACEMENT SYSTEM: SAND FILTER <br /> <br />COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS <br /> <br />1. THIS SEPTIC REVIEW WAS COMPLETED BY R.FOSTER ON 4/1/98. THIS <br /> SITE IS APPROVED FOR A STANDARD DRAINFIELD AS STAKED AND <br /> APPROVED (SEE SITE PLAN DATED 5/5/98, NOTE START SYSTEM AS <br /> FAR UP SLOPE AS POSSIBLE IN ORDER TO AVOID THE LOWER PORTION <br /> OF THE LOT CLOSE TO THE ROAD. CALL THIS OFFICE IF THERE ARE <br /> ANY QUESTIONS ON THIS INSTALLATION, <br /> A SAND FILTER SYSTEM IS REQUIRED FOR THE FUTURE SYSTEM <br /> REPLACEMENT. <br />2. THE A~ACHED ORANGE CARD MUST BE POSTED AT THE COUNTY ROAD <br /> prior to requesting an inspection. The card must be located <br /> near the driveway to the property tO assist the inspector in <br /> locating the access onto the site. <br />3. THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any <br /> vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities. Other <br /> activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway <br /> placement or any similar activities may also damage the soil <br /> in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. <br /> The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair <br /> system must both be protected. <br />4, THIS SYSTEM MUST BE INSPECTED AND APPROVED PRIOR TO BACKFILL <br /> When work is complete and ready for inspection, call our <br /> Automated Inspection Request line at 373-4427 to request an <br /> <br /> <br />
