MOVE VENTS OUT FROM UNDER ABPS AND PORTAL FRAMES, <br />5. LOT DRAINAGE, Lots shall be provided with adequate drainage <br /> and shall be graded so as to drain surface water away from <br /> foundation walls. The grade away from foundation walls shall <br /> fall a minimum of 6 inches within the first 10 feet, Where <br /> lot lines, walls or other physical barriers prohibit <br /> 6 inches of fall within 10 feet. drains or other approved <br /> means shall be provided to ensure positive drainage, <br /> [Sec, 401.2] <br /> 6. THE STRUCTURAL SUPPORTS for decks, balconies, porches or <br /> similar structures shall be pressure-treated wood to protect <br /> against decay. [Sec. 222.1] <br />7, BP. ABP, PF A~ACHED. This structure uses a combination of <br /> Brace Wall Panels (BP), Alternate Braced Wall Panels (ABP). <br /> and a Portal Frame to meet the code rquirements for lateral <br /> wall bracing. Insure that all BP's and ABP's and Portal <br /> Frames are located as indicated on the plans and constructed <br /> as shown on the plans and the attached detail sheet~. <br />8. TRUSS DESIGN, Roof trusses are reduired to be be desigmed by <br /> an Oregon registered Engineer or Architect, For trusses <br /> manufactured by an approved fabrication plant, have the <br /> design and layout drawings available at the construction <br /> site for the framing inspection. All jobsite cutting or <br /> modifications of the roof trusses shall be clearly shown in <br /> the engineer's design calculations and drawings. <br />9. SAFETY GLAZIRG / AT DOOR. The following shall be considered <br /> specific hazardous locations for the purposes of glazing: <br /> Glazing, in an individual fixed or operable panel <br /> adjacent to a door where the nearest vertical edge is <br /> within a 24 inch arc of the door in a closed position <br /> and whose bottom edge is less than 60 inches above <br /> the floor or walking surface. Exception: Safety <br /> glazing is not required when there is an intervening <br /> wall or other permanent barrier between the door and <br /> the glazing. <br />10. SAFETY GLAZING / TUBS, The following shall be considered <br /> specific hazardous locations for the purposes of glazing. <br /> Glazing in doors and enclosures for hot tubs, whirlpools <br /> saunas, steam rooms, bathtubs, showers; glazing in any <br /> part of a building wall enclosing these compartments <br /> where the bottom edge of the glazing is less than 60 <br /> inches above the drain outlet. <br />11. GARAGE/CARPORT FLOOR. That area of floor used for the <br /> parking of automobiles or other vehicles shall be sloped to <br /> acilitate the movement of liquids to a drain or toward the <br /> main vehicle entry doorway, [Sec. 209.3] <br />12. EVERY SLEEPING ROOM shall have at least one openable window <br /> or exterior door approved for emergency egress or rescue. <br /> The window sill height shall not be more than 44 inches <br /> above the floor.
