The <br />curtain drain trench must be constructed a mimimum twelve <br />(12) inches wide by 42 inches deep with 22 inches <br />of clean gravel placed over a four (4) inch smooth wall, <br />perforated pipe, The curtain drain must be located at least <br />ten (10) feet upslope from the disposal field and must <br />discharge through a watertight non-perforated pipe beside or <br />below the disposal field. A minimum separation of ten (lO) <br />feet is required from the septic tank if the tank is located <br />upslope of the curtain drain and five (5) feet if the tank <br />is located downslope of the curtian drain. <br />THIS SYSTEM MUST BE INSPECTED AND APPROVED PRIOR TO BACKFILL <br />When work is complete and ready for inspection, call our <br />Automated Inspection Request line at 272-4427 to request an <br />inspection. Enter the number "801" for a PRE-COVER inspec- <br />tion. You may leave a message for the inspector if desired. <br />Be sure the System Record form with the As-Built drawing is <br />on the job or in our office when the inspection is requested <br />An inspection should be completed within seven (7) days, <br /> <br /> <br />
