DATE/TIME ~ 07/19/99 I1:56
TYPE ~ SESP

SITE EVALUATION/SEPTIC PERMIT
PERMIT NO
STATUS
ISSUED
TO EXPIRE
PAGE

98-05006
ISSUED
07/19/1999
07/18/2000
2

SITE EVALUATION APPROVAL AND SEPTIC PERMIT

This property has been evaluated for the feasibility of the installation of a septic
system for a RESIDENTIAL building site. Based on the results of this study, site evaluation
approval was granted. The approval is specific to the area tested, and the septic system must be
located in the immediate area of the test pits, unless otherwise authorized by this office. A
new site evaluation may be required if the system is proposed for a different area on the property.

This approval is given on the basis that the lot or parcel will not be further partitioned
or subdivided and that conditions on this property and on adjacent properties are not altered in
any manner which would prohibit the issuance of a permit, Soils in the approved area shall not be
altered or modified by cutting, filling, or other developmental activities which would impede the
successful operation of the initial or replacement soil absorption systems, Failure to comply with
the above items may void this approval,

This site evaluation approval runs with the land, but the permit is non-transferable and
non-refundable,

Keep this document with your records. Show this permit to the septic installer prior to
installation of the system. Any deviation from the approved plan must have prior approval from
this office.

The following construction specifications shall apply to the installation of the initial
septic system:

TYPE OF INITIAL SYSTEM: PRESSURE DISTRIBUTION

MINIMUM SEPTIC TANK CAPACITY: 1000 GALLONS
LINEAL FEET OF DRAINFIELD: 225
TYPE OF DISTRIBUTION: LOOP
DISPOSAL TRENCH DEPTH: 12INCHES, MINIMUM: 12INCHES, MAXIMUM
TOTAL DRAIN MEDIA DEPTH: 12INCHES
DRAIN MEDIA UNDER PIPE: 6INCHES
MINIMUM SOIL BACKFILL: 16INCHES
GROUND WATER INTERCEPTOR: N

The disposal trenches are constructed (2) feet wide and on mimimum ten (10) foot centers
and with no line exceeding 125 feet in length. THIS SEPTIC REVIEW WAS COMPLETED BY LEE GRIMES ON JULY 15,
1999. THIS APPLICATION IS FOR A RURAL DENSITY VARIANCE TO
INSTALL A PRESSURIZED DISTRIBUTION PLUS CAPPING FILL SEPTIC
SYSTEM AT THE HORSE ARENA. THE SYSTEM MUST BE INSTALLED
DURING THE DRY SOIL SUMMER SEASON DUE TO THE SHALLOW RAINY
SEASON WATER TABLE. AN EFFLUENT PUMP IS NECESSARY FOR THE
PRESSURIZED DISTRIBUTION. THIS SYSTEM IS DESIGNED FOR 300
GALLONS OF DAILY SEWAGE FLOW WHICH SHOULD BE ADEQUATE FOR
THE ARENA AND FOR LIMITED USE SUCH AS A CARETAKER OR WATCH-
MAN'S SMALL TRAVEL TRAILER, AN ALTERNATIVE SAND FILTER MAY
BE NECESSARY FOR FUTURE REPAIRS SHOULD THIS SYSTEM PROVE TO
BE INADEQUATE.
8.
