SEPTIC PERMIT

DATE/TIME : 07/09/98 15:25 PERMIT NO
TYPE : SP STATUS
ISSUED
TO EXPIRE
PAGE

98-05280
ISSUED
07/09/1998
07/09/1999
2

SEPTIC PERMIT

This property was previously evaluated 04/24/1998 for the feasibility to install a
septic system for a RESIDENTIAL building site, Based on the results of this study, site
approval was granted. The approval is site specific to the area tested, and the septic
system must be located in the immediate area of the test pits, unless otherwise authorized
by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is proposed for a
different area on the property.

This approval was given on the basis that the lot or parcel will not be further partitioned
or subdivided and that conditions on this property and on adjacent properties are not altered
in any manner which would prohibit the issuance of a permit. Soils in the approved area
shall not be altered by cutting, filling, or other developmental activities which would
impede the successful operation of the initial or replacement absorption systems. Failure
to comply with the above items may void this approval.

The site evaluation approval runs with the land, but the permit is non-transferable and non-
refundable,

Keep this document with your records. Show this permit to the septic installer prior to
installation of the system. Any deviation from the approved plan must have prior approval from
this office.

The following construction specifications shall apply to the installation of the initial
septic system:

TYPE OF INITIAL SYSTEM: SAND FILTER

MINIMUM SEPTIC TANK CAPACITY: 1000 GALLONS
LINEAL FEET OF DP~AINFIELD: 135
TYPE OF DISTRIBUTION: EQUAL
DISPOSAL TRENCH DEPTH: 12INCHES, MINIMUM; 12INCHES. The card must be located
near the driveway to the property to assist the inspector in
locating the access onto the site,
8, THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any
vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities. Other
activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway
placement or any similar activities may also damage the soil
in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval.
The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair
system must both be protected,
4. THIS SEPTIC SYSTEM MUST BE INSTALLED DURING THE DRY SUMMER
SEASON ONLY, The site is marginally acceptable for the
system described above due to the marginal soil and/or
groundwater conditions which exist on the property.
Construction during the wet winter season may seriously
compromise the quality of the system. Make sure that soil
moisture conditions are acceptable before installing the
system,
