No evidence of failure was found, and the system appeared to be functioning in a satisfactory manner. The septic tank was pumped 12/10/98 , by STAYTON SEPTIC and was inspected at that time. This notice is issued with the reco~endation that the septic tank be pumped and inspected by a licensed septic tank pumper approximately every five years. This notice does not guarantee satisfactory or continuous operation of the existing on-site sewage disposal system, Planning approval may be required for the proposed development of the property. THIS SEPTIC REVIEW WAS COMPEETED BY LEE GRIMES ON DECEMBER 28, 1998. THE REVIEW IS TO CONSIDER REPLACING THE PREVIOUS TWO BEDROOM MOBILE HOME WITH A NEW TWO BEDROOM MANUFACTURED HOME. THE NEW HOME WILL BE SITED IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION, REFER TO THE REVISED SITE PLAN DATED JANUARY 6, 1999. THE SEPTIC SYSTEM WAS NOT IN USE DURING THE REVIEW. WE HAVE NO RECORDS OF THE EXISTING SYSTEM IN OUR FILES. IT APPEARS THAT THERE IS A SMALL 500 GALLON STEEL TANK AND 3-50' DRAINLINES, WE RECOMMEND THAT THE TANK BE PUMPED ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE, ABOUT EVERY THREE YEARS TO EXTEND THE USE OF THE SYSTEM AS LONG AS POSSIBLE, THE NEW HOME MUST MEET A TEN FEET MINIMUM SETBACK FROM THE CLOSEST DRAINLINE. RESERVE SPACE FOR REPAIR 2. THE ATTACHED ORANGE CARD MUST BE POSTED AT THE COUNTY RO~ prior to requesting an inspection. The card must be located near the driveway to the property to assist the inspector in locating the access onto the site. 4. THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities, Other activities such as loqging, excavating or filling, driveway placement or any similar activities may also damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair system must both be protected.
