DATE/TIME
TYPE
OCCUPANCY

EXISTING SYSTEM APPROVAL
05/20/98 14:57 PERMIT NO
SP STATUS
R-$ ISSUED
TO EXPIRE
PAGE

98-03186
ISSUED
05/20/1998
05/20/1999
2

EXISTING SYSTEM APPROVAL

A site inspection was made to determine the condition of the existing on-site sewage system
located on the property, No evidence of failure was found and the system appeared to be
functioning in a satisfactory manner. The septic tank was pumped and inspectedon 09/05/97
by MIKE'S SEPTIC

This notice is issued with the recommendation that the septic tank be pumped and inspected by
a licensed septic tank pumper approximately every five years. This notice does not guarantee
satisfactory or continuous operation of the existing on-site sewage disposal system,

Planning approval may also be required for any proposed development of the property,

COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS

1, THIS SEPTIC REVIEW WAS COMPLETED BY LEE GRIMES ON MAY 15,
1998, THIS REVIEW IS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PROPOSED
PROPERTY PARTITION. NO APPARENT CONFLICT OR FAILURE WAS
NOTICED. WE HAVE NO RECORD OF THE EXISTING SEPTIC SYSTEM
IN OUR FILES. THE PUMPING REPORT FROM MIKE'S SEPTIC SERVICE
DATED SEPTEMBER 5. 1995 INDICATED THAT THE 1000 GALLON
STEEL SEPTIC TANK WAS IN FAIR CONDITION. WE RECOMMEND THAT
THE TANK BE PUMPED ABOUT EVERY FOUR TO FIVE YEARS TO EXTEND
THE SYSTEM'S USEFUL SERVICE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. FUTURE
REPAIRS MAY INCLUDE AN ALTERNATIVE SAND FILTER SYSTEM.
2, THE ADACHED ORANGE CARD MUST BE POSTED AT THE COUNTY ROAD
prior to requesting an inspection. The card must be located
near the driveway to the property to assist the inspector in
locating the access onto the site.
2. THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any
vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities, Other
activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway
placement or any similar activNties may also damage the soil
in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval,
The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair
system must both be protected,
