Your permit was issued in accordance with the State of Oregon
Manufactured Dwelling Standard regulations. It was issued on 5/4/98 with an
expiration date of 10/21/98 (printed on your application form). Section 302
covers Site & Stand Preparation and requirements under sections 302(a), (c) &
(f) apply to your installation. I have enclosed a copy of those sections for your
review. Your manufactured dwelling has never had a final inspection. State law
requires a final inspection within 30 days of occupancy of the dwelling. To not
have a t'mal inspection is a violation of Oregon Law.

When you applied for your deck permit (#98-05922) on 7/17/98 you were
required to submit several things in order to comply with Oregon Law. A written
"Notice of Incomplete Plans" was sent to you on 8/7/98 detailing these issues.
That notice also nofed an expiration date of 1/13/99 for your application process.
The required infonnation was never submitted by you to complete the application
process and your application expired in accordance with Oregon Law. Your deck
has been constructed without the benefit of plan review or inspection. To build
this deck without a permit or plan review is a violation of Oregon Law. Based
upon my review of the site, your submitted plans and your method of
construction on a slope, your project may become unsafe during inclement
weather for continued use.

An inspector requested that I visit the site and review the installation of the deck
and manufactured dwelling. No one was at home during my review of the site.
In subsequent conversations with you, I explained the need for you to complete
the requirements of your deck application process, specifically in regard to the
slope stabilization. By State Law, all permits expire and Marion County prints
the expiration date on the permit document.

Marion County Annex · 3150 Lancaster Dr. N.
