No evidence of failure was found, and the system appeared to be functioning in a satisfactory manner, The septic tank was pumped 7 /16/98 , by VALLEY SEPTIC and was inspected at that time. This notice is issued with the recommendation that the septic tank be pumped and inspected by a licensed septic tank pumper approximately every five years. THE REVIEW IS TO CONSIDER REPLACIENG THE SINGLE-WIDE THREE BEDROOM MOBILE HOME WITH A NEW TRIPLE-WIDE THREE BED- ROOM MANUFACTURED HOME. NO APPARENT CONFLICT WAS NOTICED BETWEEN THE NEW HOME AND THE SEPTIC SYSTEM. THE SYSTEM WAS OPERATIONG NORMALLY WITHOUT EVIDENCE OF ANY FAILURE, OUR RECORDS INDICATE THAT THE SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED SEPTEMBER 5, 1976, IT INCLUDES A 1000 GALLON CONCRETE TANK AND 450 FEET OF DRAINFIELD (FOUR LINES). THE TANK IS LOCATED UNDER PART OF THE BARN JUST EAST OF THE HOME SITE. A MANHOLE RISER CAN BE ADDED TO THE TANK TO FACILITATE PUMPING. WE RECOMMEND THE TANK BE PUMPED ABOUT EVERY FIVE YEARS FOR BEST PERFORMANCE. 3, THE AI~fACHED ORANGE CARD MUST BE POSTED AT THE COUNTY ROAD prior to requesting an inspection. The card must be located near the driveway to the property to assist the inspector in locating the access onto the site. 4. THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities, Other activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway placement or any similar activities may also damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair system must both be protected.
