This approval is specific to the area tested, and the system <br />must be installed in the immediate area of the test pits, <br /> <br />Soils in the approved area shall not be altered or modified by cutting, filling, or other <br />activities which would impede the successful operation of the septic system, Observe all <br />required setback/separation distances during the installation of the system, <br /> <br />Keep this document with your records. Give a copy of this permit to the septic system <br />installer prior to the installation of the system, Any deviation from the approved plan <br />must have prior approval from this office. <br /> <br />The following construction specifications shall apply to the installation of the septic system: <br /> TYPE OF REPLACEMENT SYSTEM: SEEPAGE TRENCH <br /> <br /> MINIMUM SEPTIC TANK CAPACITY: 1000 GALLONS <br /> LINEAL FEET OF DPJNINFIELD: 90 <br /> TYPE OF DISTRIBUTION: EQUAL <br /> DISPOSAL TRENCH DEPTH: 42INCHES. MININUM: 48INCHES, MAXIMUM <br /> TOTAL DRAIN MEDIA DEPTH: 26INCHES <br /> DPJNIN MEDIA UNDER PIPE: 20INCHES <br /> MINIMUM SOIL BACKFIll: 6INCHES <br /> GROUND WATER INTERCEPTOR: N <br /> <br /> The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and on minimum ten (10) foot <br /> centers and with no line exceeding 125 feet in length. The trenches and perforated <br /> pipe are installed level (+/- one inch) and contoured to follow the natural ground <br /> surface. <br /> <br />COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS <br /> <br /> t. THE HOLE WHERE THE <br /> SEPTIC EFFLUENT IS LEAKING ON TO THE NEIGHBORING PROPERTIES <br /> MUST BE PLUGGED AND THE LEAK CEASE. E-Z DRAIN MATERIAL MAY <br /> BE USES INSTEAD DF GRAVEL. FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURES GUIDELINE <br /> AS TO CONFIGURATION AND SIZE FOR THE I~ATERIAL FOR THE SEEP- <br /> AGE TRENCH, <br />3. THE Al~ACHED ORANGE CARD MUST BE POSTED AT THE COUNTY ROAD <br /> prior to requestieg an inspection. The card must be located <br /> near the driveway to the property to assist the inspector in <br /> locating the access onto the site. <br />4, THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any <br /> vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities. Other <br /> activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway <br /> placement or any similar activities may also damage the soil <br /> in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. <br /> The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair <br /> system must both be protected, <br />5, SEEPAGE TRENCH systems are installed with a gravel depth <br /> under the drainfield distribution pipe greater than required <br /> for a standard system. They are permitted on lots or parcels <br /> created prior to January 1, 1974, which are inadequate in <br /> size to accommodate a standard system. The above system <br /> specifications indicate the required gravel depth of the <br /> drainfield. <br /> <br /> <br />
