No evidence of failure was found, and the system appeared to be functioning in a satisfactory manner. The septic tank was pumped 12/11/98 . by A & B SEPTIC and was inspected at that time, This notice is issued with the recommendation that the septic tank be pumped and inspected by a licensed septic tank pumper approximately every five years. This notice does not guarantee satisfactory or continuous operation of the existing on-site sewage disposal system. Planning approval may be required for the proposed development of the property. THE REVIEW IS TO CONSIDER REPLACING THE EXISTING THREE BEDROOM MOBILE HOME WITH A NEW THREE BEDROOM HOME, NO APPARENT CONFLICT WAS NOTICED AND THE SEPTIC SYSTEM WAS OPERATING WITHOUT ANY EVIDENCE OF FAILURE. REPAIR AREA IS AVAILABLE VIA AN EFFLUENT PUMP, OUR RECORDS INDICATE THAT THE SEPTIC SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED JULY 31, 1975. IT INCLUDES A 900 GALLON CONCRETE TANK AND 300 FEET OF DRAINFIELD. WE HAVE NO OBJECTION TO THE PROPOSED CONNECTION. THE SEPTIC TANK SHOULD BE PUMPED ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE. ABOUT EVERY FOUR TO FIVE YEARS TO EXTEND THE SYSTEM'S USEFUL SERVICE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE, 3. THE A1-FACHED ORANGE CARD MUST BE POSTED AT THE COUNTY ROAD prior to requesting an inspection. The card must be located near the driveway to the property to assist the inspector in locating the access onto the site. 4. THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities. Other activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway placement or any similar activities may also damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair system must both be protected.
