Approval of submitted plans is not an approval of omissions <br /> or oversights by this office or of noncompliance with any <br /> applicable regulations of local government. <br />4. An attached garage shall be designed and constructed as a <br /> free-standing, self-supporting structure and may only be <br /> attached to a manufactured dwelling with appropriate flash- <br /> ing or sealing materials to provide a weather seal <br /> (Section 807(b) Manufactured Dwelling Code). <br />5. The garage shall be completely separated from the manufac- <br /> tured dwelling er cabana includi~g,,attic and crawl space <br /> areas by means of 1/2 inch type X gypsum board or its <br /> equivalent. The door between the garage and manufactured <br /> dwelling shall be a solid wood door not less than 1 2/8 inch <br /> in thickness, a 20-minute fire-rated door, or equivalent. <br /> (Section 807(d)(1.2) Oregon Manufactured Dwelling Code Stan) <br />6. NO exhaust vent, combustion air vent, return air vent, con- <br /> densation drain, or any other vent may terminate inside the <br /> attached garage, Any vent or condensate drain that <br /> terminates in the garage shall be extended to the exterior <br /> of the building. (Section BO7(d)(3) Oregon Manufactured <br /> Dwelling Code Standards). <br />7, BP, ABP. This structure uses a combination of Brace Wall <br /> Panels (BP) and Alternate Braced Wall Panels (ABP) to meet <br /> the code requirements for lateral wall bracing. Insure that <br /> all BP's are located as indicated on the plans. <br />8. CONCRETE SPECIFICATIONS. Basement walls and foundations not <br /> exposed to the weather, basement slabs and interior slabs on <br /> grade, except garage floor and steps exposed to the weather <br /> shall have a minimum compressive strength of 2500 psi. <br /> Basement walls, foundation walls, exterior walls, and other <br /> veritical concrete work exposed to the weather, porches, <br /> carport slabs, and steps exposed to the weather, and garage <br /> floor slabs shall have a minimum specified compressive <br /> strength of 3000. Concrete shall be air entrained. Total <br /> air content (percent by volume of concrete) shall not be <br /> less than 5 percent or more than 7 percent. [Sec. 402.2, <br /> Table 402.2] <br />9. LOT DP~AINAGE. Lots shall be provided with adequate drainage <br /> and shall be graded so as to drain surface water away from <br /> foundation walls. The grade away from foundation walls shall <br /> fall a minimum of 6 inches within the first 10 feet. Where <br /> lot lines, walls or other physical barriers prohibit <br /> 6 inches of fall within 10 feet. drains or other approved <br /> means shall be provided to ensure positive drainage. <br /> [Sec, 401.2] <br /> <br /> <br />
