Lyon,
Re: 4s-lw-2D TL 40159-815; OCegon Airpark Hangers property
Marion Co.

Hello. The Co. recently issued the enclosed site evaluation
denial paperwork. As per our phone conversation, the other day, ~e
are now ready to secure the W.P.C.F. permit for the holding tanks.

The project is for 37 airplane storage hangers and one
central comfort station with two toilets. We would like to have one
sink and one toilet in each hanger. At 5 gals/person/day (airports
table 2 B.E.Q. rules) we have a flow of 185 GPO. Being recreational
planes the toilets will not actually be used much because most of
this flying is dictated by weather. Additionally, they will use low
flush toilets and pressure activated faucets to conserve water.
Because the project area is large, we will divide the flow three
ways into three tanks.

We will use 3 D.E.9. approved Waits Concrete Products 1500
gal holding tanks (Spencer Waits; 503 288-2870). The water table
being high, necessitated antibuoyancy cons{derations. These tanks
weigh 14,000 lbs and can be held under ground with a table @ 9" by
5,BBB lbs of concrete. The concrete weighs 3,850 lbs/yard, therefor
we will need 1.T yards. The licensed installer, Mike McMein
Country Construction (503 632-4382) will supervise the antiboyancy
measures.

The time schedule will depend somewhat on weather and
permits, but a realistic date is 'January 15, 1997.
