The applicants axe proposing more than one holding tank per tax lot which does
not meet the criteria for a General WPCF//5400 permit.

The applicant is proposing to install three 1500 gallon domestic sewage holding tanks to serve 37
hangars at the airport. Each hangar is to have one sink and one toilet that are designed to
minimize the use of water (low flush toilet and pressure activated faucets).

The site evaluation submitted by Marion County indicates a temporary water table at nine (9)
inches and an Effective Soil Depth of eight (8) inches, and therefore unsuitable for a standard
subsurface sewage disposal system. As an anfibuoyancy measure, Rich Lyons R.S., has
proposed to pour three tons of concrete to prevent flotation of the tank. The Department has
elected to accept the applicant's proposal of using multiple holding tanks instead of using septic
