No evidence of failure was found and the system appeared to be functioning in a satisfactory manner. The septic tank was pumped and inspected on 03/26/99 by VALLEY SEPTIC This notice is issued with the recommendation that the septic tank be pumped and inspected by a licensed septic tank pumper approximately every five years. This notice does not guarantee satisfactory or continuous operation of the existing on-site sewage disposal system, Planning approval may also be required for any proposed development of the property, COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS 1. NO APPARENT CON- FLICT OR FAILURE WAS NOTICED, IT DOES APPEAR THAT THE DRAIN- FIELD IS SOMEWHAT LESS THAN 100 FEET FROM THE WELL AND THAT THE DP~qINFIELD IS ENCUMBERED BY THE DRIVEWAY AND SHOP. WE HAVE NO RECORD OF THE EXISTING SYSTEM IN OUR FILES, SPACE IS AVAILABLE FOR FUTURE REPAIRS. AN ALTERNATIVE SAND FILTER IS PROBABLY NECESSARY DUE TO THE SHALLOW REGIONAL WATER TABLE. THE SEPTIC TANK SHOULD BE PUMPED ABOUT EVERY FOUR TO FIVE YEARS TO EXTEND THE SYSTEM'S USEFUL SERVICE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. OKAY FOR THE PROPOSED THREE BEDROOM RESIDENCE. 3. THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities. Other activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway placement or any similar activities may also damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair system must both be protected.
