THE REVIEW IS TO CONSIDER REPLACING THE TWO BEDROOM
MOBILE HOME WITH A THREE BEDROOM DWELLING. NO APPARENT CON-
FLICT OR FAILURE OF THE SEPTIC SYSTEM WAS NOTICED. OUR FILES
INDICATE THAT THE SAND FILTER SEPTIC SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED
OCTOBER 11, 1982. THE MANHOLE RISER LIDS NEED TO BE REPLACED
WITH WATER TIGHT LID, A NEW EFFUENT SCREEN INSTALLED WITHIN
THE PUMP STATION AND A HIGH WATER ALARM INSTALLED UPON
CONNECTION TO THE NEW HOME. THE SEPTIC TANK SHOULD BE PUMPED
ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE, ABOUT EVERY FOUR YEARS, TO EXTEND THE
SAND FILTER'S USEFUL SERVICE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE, THE SAND
FILTER NEEDS SOME REPAIR DUE TO LIVESTOCK DAMAGE,
3, THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any
vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities. Other
activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway
~lacement or any similar activities may also damage the soil
in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval.
The areas of the i~itial septic system and the future repair
system must both be protected,
