JONES on 07/11/99, <br /> This plan was reviewed under the 1996 Edition of the State <br /> of Oregon One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br />3~ Approval of submitted plans is not an approval of omissions <br /> or oversights by this office or of noncompliance with any <br /> applicable regulations of local government. <br />4, GROUNDING ELECTRODES, When concrete reinforcing bars are <br /> installed in concrete footings, the following requirements <br /> shall be met to provide for a grounding electrode system: <br /> 1, Uncoated No~ 4 reinforcing bar installed not less <br /> 20 feet in length encased with a minimum of 2 inches of <br /> concrete. <br /> 2, An uncoated No. 4 reinforcing bar stubbed up at least <br /> 12 inches above the floor plate line and tightly attached to <br /> the reinforcing bar located in the footing. The spliced lap <br /> of the staubbed up bar to the footing shall be a minimum of <br /> t2 inches. (See Section 4108.1.2) [Sec. 402.4] <br /> 5, THE T2I FLOOR joist system shall be installed in accordance <br /> with its listing and the manufacturer's installation <br /> structions. Please have the installation instructions <br /> available during the framing inspection. <br />6, SAFETY GLAZING / AT DOOR. The following shall be considered <br /> specific hazardous locations for the purposes of glazing: <br /> Glazing. in an individual fixed or operable panel <br /> adjacent to a door where the nearest vertical edge is <br /> within a 24 inch arc of the door in a closed position <br /> and whose bottom edge is less than 60 inches above <br /> the floor or walking surface. Exception: Safety <br /> glazing is not required when there is an intervening <br /> wall or other permanent barrier between the door and <br /> the glazing. <br />7, SAFE~ GLAZING / TUBS. The following shall be considered <br /> specific hazardous locations for the purposes of glazing, <br /> Glazing in doors and enclosures for hot tubs. whirlpools <br /> saunas, steam rooms, bathtubs, showers: glazing in any <br /> ~hart of a building wall enclosing these compartments <br /> ere the bottom edge of the glazing is less than 60 <br /> inches above the drain outlet, <br />8. DECORATIVE GAS APPLIANCES shall be listed and installed in <br /> accordance with their listing and the manufacturer's <br /> installation instructions, [Sec, 2205] <br />9.
