Approved for private non-commercial use only, 5. LOT DRAINAGE, Lots shall be provided with adequate drainage and shall be graded so as to drain surface water away from foundation walls. The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 inches within the first 10 feet. Where lot lines, walls or other physical barriers prohibit 6 inches of fall within lO feet, drains or other approved means shall be provided to ensure positive drainage, [Sec, 401.3] 6, GROUNDING ELECTRODES. When concrete reinforcing bars are installed in concrete footings, the following requirements shall be met to provide for a grounding electrode system: 1. Uncoated No. 4 reinforcing bar installed not less than 3" from the bottom of the footing and not less than 20' in length encased with a minimum of 2" of concrete. 2. An uncoated No. 4 reinforcing bar stubbed up at least 12" above the floor plate line and tightly attached to the reinforcing bar located in the footing. The spliced lap of the stubbed up bar to the footing shall be a minimum 12". Sec. 403.4 THIS IS APPLICABLE IF A SERVICE IS BE- ING INSTALLED AND REBAR IS INSTALLED IN THE FOOTING. 7. The engineered truss design summary that was submitted with the building plans is for a 24' wide structure, the plans show the proposed new building is 30' wide. Please nave the correct truss design summary on the job site when the build- ing is ready to do the framing inspection. 8. LANDING / EXTERIOR DOOR, A minimum 3 foot x 3 foot landing shall be required on each side of an egress door. The floor or landing shall not be more than 1 and 1/2 inches lower than the top of the threshold, Exception: The landing at the exterior doooway shall not be more than 8 1/4 inches below the top of the threshold. [Sec. 312.1] 9, NON-HEATED STRUCTURE. This structure is being reviewed as a non-heated structure. If the building is to be heated, apply for an addendum to these plans by submitting revised plans showing how this structure will meet the requirements of the Oregon Energy Code.
