Approval of submitted plans is not an approval of omissions <br /> or oversights by this office or of noncompliance with any <br /> applicable regulations of local government, <br />4. Approved for private non-commercial use only, <br />5. LOT DRAINAGE, Lots shall be provided with adequate drainage <br /> and shall be graded so as to drain surface water away from <br /> foundation walls. The grade away from foundation walls shall <br /> fall a minimum of 6 inches within the first 10 feet. Where <br /> lot lines, walls or other physical barriers prohibit <br /> 6 inches of fall within lO feet, drains or other approved <br /> means shall be provided to ensure positive drainage, <br /> [Sec, 401.3] <br />6, GROUNDING ELECTRODES. When concrete reinforcing bars are <br /> installed in concrete footings, the following requirements <br /> shall be met to provide for a grounding electrode system: <br /> 1. Uncoated No. 4 reinforcing bar installed not less than 3" <br /> from the bottom of the footing and not less than 20' in <br /> length encased with a minimum of 2" of concrete. <br /> 2. An uncoated No. 4 reinforcing bar stubbed up at least 12" <br /> above the floor plate line and tightly attached to the <br /> reinforcing bar located in the footing. The spliced lap <br /> of the stubbed up bar to the footing shall be a minimum <br /> 12". Sec. 403.4 THIS IS APPLICABLE IF A SERVICE IS BE- <br /> ING INSTALLED AND REBAR IS INSTALLED IN THE FOOTING. <br />7. The engineered truss design summary that was submitted with <br /> the building plans is for a 24' wide structure, the plans <br /> show the proposed new building is 30' wide. Please nave the <br /> correct truss design summary on the job site when the build- <br /> ing is ready to do the framing inspection. <br />8. LANDING / EXTERIOR DOOR, A minimum 3 foot x 3 foot landing <br /> shall be required on each side of an egress door. The floor <br /> or landing shall not be more than 1 and 1/2 inches lower <br /> than the top of the threshold, Exception: The landing at <br /> the exterior doooway shall not be more than 8 1/4 inches <br /> below the top of the threshold. [Sec. 312.1] <br />9, NON-HEATED STRUCTURE. This structure is being reviewed as a <br /> non-heated structure. If the building is to be heated, <br /> apply for an addendum to these plans by submitting revised <br /> plans showing how this structure will meet the requirements <br /> of the Oregon Energy Code.
