Soils: Three soil pits were dug in the area where the wastewater system is being
proposed. The soils are developing from coliuvium and glacial outwash. The soils contain
a high percentage of rounded gravels and some angular cobbles. They are deep and
excessively well drained.

Test Pit #2

(}-5"
5-51"

51-64"

Very gravely loam; 10YR 3/3; slightly compacted; 35%
Very gravely loam; 7.5YR 3/4; mod., f'me, subangular blocky structure;
55% coarse fragments; angular and round gravels; abundant roots.
Large round gravels and sand; 10YR 4/3.

Test Pit #3 Like

Test Pit #5

0-14"
14-31"
31-48"

Silt loam; 7.5YR 3/2; granular structure
Very gravely sand; 7.5YR 3/3; 70% coarse fragments
Sands; gravels, boulders

Note: Soil pits were closed after describing the profiles due to an upcoming wedding to
be held at Jawbone. During the week ends in the summer,
the flows will be in the range of 400 gpd. There will be no
dishwashers or clothes washers.

Primary Treatment = 2000 gallon fiberglass dosing septic tank.

Bottomless sandfilter with 600 sqft.
