CALL BEFORE YOU DIG .... IT'S THE LAW. <br /> ATTENTION: Oregon law requires you to follow rules adopted <br /> by the Oregon Utility Notification Center. Those rules are <br /> set forth in OAR 952-001-0010 through OAR 952-001-0090, You <br /> may obtain copies of the rules by calling the center. <br /> (Note: The telephone number for the Oregon Utility Notifica- <br /> tion Center is (503) 232-1987). <br />2, THIS SEPTIC REVIEW WAS COMPLETED BY Z.EWING ON 8/16/99, THE <br /> EXISTING SEPTIC SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED FOR A 2 BEDROOM HOME <br /> AND 200 LINEAL FEET OF DRAINFIELD WAS REQUIRED ACCORDING TO <br /> OUR RECORDS, THE SEEPAGE TRENCH EQUIVALENT OF 200' OF DRAIN <br /> FIELD WITH A TOTAL OF 20" OF GRAVEL IS 114 LINEAL FEET OF <br /> DRAINLINE, THIS IS BASED UPON THE ORIGINAL SIZING CRITERIA. <br /> INSTALL THE DRAINFIELD NO CLOSER THAN lO' FROM THE PROPERTY <br /> LINE AND PLACE NEW HOME NO CLOSER THAN 10' TO THE NEW DRAIN <br /> LINE, <br /> THE EXISTING SEPTIC TANK MUST BE PUMPED AND ABANDONED AT THE <br /> TIME OF SYSTEM INSTALLATION, SUBMIT THE ATTACHED ABANDONMENT <br /> FORM. <br />3, THE ATTACHED ORANGE CARD MUST BE POSTED AT THE COUNTY ROAD <br /> prior to requesting an inspection. The card must be located <br /> near the driveway to the property to assist the inspector in <br /> locating the access onto the site, <br />4, THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any <br /> vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities, Other <br /> activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway <br /> placement or any similar activities may also damage the soil <br /> in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. <br /> The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair <br /> system must both be protected, <br />5. SEEPAGE TRENCH systems are installed with a gravel depth <br /> under the drainfield distribution pipe greater than required <br /> for a standard system. They are permitted on lots or parcels <br /> created prior to January 1, 1974, which are inadequate in <br /> size to accommodate a standard system. The above system <br /> specifications indicate the required gravel depth of the <br /> drainfield, <br />6. THE ATTACHED SEPTIC TANK ABANDONMENT FORM MUST BE COMPLETED <br /> AND RETURNED TO OUR OFFICE, The septic system installer <br /> must complete and sign the form and attach a copy of the <br /> receipt from the septic tank pumper for pumping the tank, <br /> <br /> <br />
