No evidence of failure was found and the system appeared to be functioning in a satisfactory manner. This notice is issued with the recommendation that the septic tank be pumped and inspected by a licensed septic tank pumper approximately every five years. This notice does not guarantee satisfactory or continuous operation of the existing on-site sewage disposal system. Planning approval may also be required for any proposed development of the property. COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS 1. CALL BEFORE YOU DIG .... IT'S THE LAW. THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities. Other activities such as lo~ging, excavating or filling, driveway placement or any simiIar activities may also damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair system must both be protected. 2.
