Upon that site inspection, it was found that the test pit #1 (see <br />MANAGEMENT <br />enclosed soil worksheet) does not meet the minimum standards due to the <br /> <br />ENGINEERING <br />following reason: <br /> <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL <br />SITE/SOIL COMPACTED <br />SERVICES <br />DEQ RULE REQUIREMENT: THE SITE OF PROPOSED DRAINFIELD <br /> <br />PARKS <br />AREAS IS NOT COVERED BY ASPHALT OR CONCRETE OR SUBJECT <br /> <br />TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC, LIVESTOCK OR OTHER ACTIVITY THAT <br />PLANNING <br /> <br />WOULD ADVERSELY AFFECT THE SOIL. OAR 340-071-0220(1)(H) <br />OPERATIONS <br />Description: Soils provide an important part of the treatment and “sanitizing” <br /> <br />SURVEYOR <br />process for sewage. However, this treatment by the soils requires air to <br /> <br />penetrate. The problems caused by compacted soil: poor treatment of the <br /> <br />sewage <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Possible solutions: <br /> <br /> <br />1.Please dig a new test hole in the area recommended on the soil worksheet. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter.
