We wili use what we have and replace at a later date. <br />All purchases are from 00/01 budget. <br />As far as obtaining any financial assistance for our furniture/work station purchases, I would appreciate <br />what ever help I can get. I am sure that we have reduced the moving cost for Building Inspection by <br />thousands of dollars since we will not be moving and reconstructing our existing workstations. What was <br />going to be a minimum of a 3 day move will now be a single day. Funds from the <br />savings in moving cost should be applied to our furniture and work station purchases. This would be <br />outside the +- $50,000 in funds available for furniture purchases. Building Inspection should be <br />reimbursed for this savings to the moving budget. Our motives for ordering new workstations was not <br />just to save the County money in moving expense, but to shorten our "down time/pubiic closure time" and <br />that reconfiguration cost of our existing work stations would be very high.
