Energy Efficiency Level 1: Title 24 Code Compliance Assessment.
2. Construction Indoor Air Quality Levels 1 and 2.
Implementation of Permanent Air Monitoring Systems with V.O.C. Sensors in Retum Air
System.
4. LEED Certification of Designers.
It was unknown at the time, whether a significant effort would be required to finalize documentation for LEED
certification. In discussions with the Project Team during the second half of 2000, it was assumed by the
par~cipants that we and our consultants would recover the time and effort required to compile the documentation
needed for LEED certification. It has come to my attention that the understanding was never formalized as an
amendment to the contract. With this letter, we request that this understanding be finalized as an amendment.
The tasks involved include the following:
1. Printing and highlighting drawings for each credit category identifying how the credit is
achieved.
2. Compiling information from submittals and highlighting information showing LEED credit
compliance.
3. Compiling information from the Contractor's records as required.
4. Organizing the compiled data into categories.
To date, we have provided two partial submissions to Harding ESE. The submissions have been partial because
in some instances, we are waiting for verification from the Contractor. In other instances, Harding ESE has asked
for more detailed information. We are hopeful that one final submission can be made in the near future.
