The project is.a commercial buiiding adjacent to a hus transfer mall <br />to be located in Salem, Oregon. The tasks of this project are understood to invo`.ve evaluating <br />the isolation and r.ecommending modificatians for controi of 1) bus noise from mall to the <br />interior bnilding spaces, and 2) bus vibration from the bus mall to d~e general building <br />structure. <br />The following tasks are expected. <br />A. SCOPE UF V~~ORK <br />1. Desigu <br />l.l Source Sound Measurement <br />For the most accurate analysis, sound level measurements of the bus noise should be <br />made. In that the sound isolating characteristics of building structure va~y with <br />frequency, chis information will allaw tlae most accurate evaluation of the currently <br />planned structure, and potentiai modifications.
