12.3.2 Insurance policy forms and amounts of dedudibles sha11 be acceptable to the Owner. Policies <br />sha11 be endorsed to comply with the following requirements and, upon execution of this Agreement, the <br />Architect sha11 furnish the Owner with certificates which evidence compliance with the following reqwrements. <br />Policies shall: <br />1. Provide for thirty (30) days' advance written notice to the Owner of cancellation of coverage. <br />2. Include the Owner and its elected officials, officers and employees as additional insureds with <br />respect to Paragraphs 12.3.1(1) (General Liability Insurance) and 12.3.1(2) (Automobile Liability Insurance). <br />3. Be written by insurance companies which aze authorized to conduct business in the state of Oregon, <br />and which have a policyholder's rating of not less than A VII in the most current edition of Best's Rahn~ <br />Guide. <br />4. Include Severability of Interest and Cross Liability clauses. <br />12.4 LIENS <br />The Architect shall comply with applicable public cantract laws concerning liens, including but not limited <br />to ORS 279.3 12, the Miller Act and the little Miller Act. <br />12.5 NONDISCRIMINATION <br />12.5.1 The Arclutect and the Architect's consultazrts shall not discriminate against anY aPPlicant for <br />employmeirt or employee on the basis of race, religion, color, gender, sexual orientations, national ongin, age <br />or disability. The Architect sha11 take affrmative actions to ensure that applicants for employment and <br />einployces are treated without regard to their race, religion, color, gender, sexual orientation, nahonal origin, <br />age or disability. Such action shall relate to, but not be lunited to, the following: employment, upgrading, <br />demotion, or transfer; recnutment or recnutrnent advertising; layoff or ternunation; rates of pay or other forms <br />of compensation; and selection of training, including apprenticeslup. The Architect agrees to post in <br />conspicuous places, available to its applicants for employment and employees, notices setting forth its policies <br />of nondiscrimination.
