PRODUCTS <br />2. I PATCHING MATERIALS <br />A. Ductwork and Housings: Use plastic plugs with retainers to patch drilled holes. <br />2.2 INSTRUMENTS <br />A. Utilize test instruments and equipment as recommended in the following: <br />I. NEBB's Procedural Standards for Testing, Adjusting and Balancing of Environmental <br />Systems. , <br />2. AABC's Manual MN- I,"AABC National Standards." <br />EXECUTION <br />3. I VERIFICATION OF CONDITIONS <br />A. Do not proceed with testing, adjusting and balancing work until work has been compieted and <br />is operable. Do not proceed until work scheduled for testing, adjusting and balancing is clean <br />and free from debris, dirt and discarded building materials. <br />B. Verify the following: <br />I. Equipment is operable and in a safe and normal condition. <br />2. Temperature control systems are installed complete and operable. <br />3. Final filters are clean and in place. <br />4. Duct systems are clean of debris. <br />S. Correct fan rotation. <br />6. Dampers are in place and open. <br />7. Access doors are closed. <br />8. Air outlets are installed and connected. <br />9. Report any defects or deficiencies noted during performance of services to Architect. <br />Promptly report abnormal conditions in Mechanical Systems or conditions which <br />prevent system balance. <br />C. Automatic Temperature Control Systems: <br />Set and adjust automatically operated devices to achieve required sequence of <br />operations. Coordinate with the automatic temperature control supplier. Do not <br />proceed without his representation. <br />3.2 TEST HOLE LOCATIONS <br />A. Install test holes at the inlet and outlet of all air handling unit fans, exhaust fans, utility fans, and <br />the like, and elsewhere as required to facilitate traverses and to test the air systems. Plug holes <br />when finished. <br />2 <br />
