Oregon No. E-16 Canceling First Revision of Sheet No. 32-4 <br />,; .;..... <br />SCHEDULE 32 (Continued) ~ ~ <br />MINIMUM CHARGE <br />The Customer Charge shall be the minimum charge applicable to Demand Level I <br />service. The Customer Charge and the Facilities Charge shall be the minimum charge <br />applicable to Demand Levels II and III service. The Company may require the <br />Customer to execute a written agreement specifying a higher minimum charge, if <br />necessary, to justify the Company's investment in service facilities. <br />MAXIMUM CHARGE <br />For billing purposes, the average rate calculated under Demand Level II or III, excluding <br />the Customer Charge, any Reactive Demand Charge, and any adjustments shall not <br />exceed 10.105¢ per kWh; however, in no case shall the bill be less than the Minimum <br />Charge. <br />REACTIVE DEMAND CHARGE <br />In addition to the charges as specified in the Monthly Rate, the Customer shall pay 50¢ <br />for each kilovolt-ampere of reactive demand in excess of 40 percent of the maximum <br />kilowatt demand during the billing month. Such charge is separate from and in addition <br />to the Minimum Charge specified. <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br />The Company will transfer Customers befinreen Demand Levels I, II and III based upon <br />their recorded or estimated demand. The Company may, at its option, require demand <br />metering if the Customer's energy consumption indicates the possibility of demand in <br />excess of 30 kW. <br />If the Company's transformers are used exclusively for service to the Customer, the <br />Company may, at its option, permit installation of inetering equipment on the primary <br />voltage side of the transformers; in such case, billing will be based on meter registration <br />less a deduction of 1-1/2 percent to compensate for transformer losses. <br />
