The Safety
Officer may request selection assistance from outside consultants,
and/or respirator manufacturers or distributors.
1. DUST KASKS
Dust masks are to be used onlv for protection against nuisance
contaminants such as non-toxic dusts, and non-hazardous levels of
fumes and vapors. Dust masks generally do not provide a good seal
against the face, and thus are inadequate for protection against
hazardous air contaminants.
