I believe #hat as commissioner, you <br />had and continue #o have the responsibility of oversight in this matter. Perhaps adequate <br />aversight was not given #o #his projec#, bu# it is no# tov lata to remedy the situation: <br />Please stop this project now. Clear the slate by removing Anderson-Wyckoff, Randy Curtis, <br />and the Portland-based management firm wh~ch rep~aced Frey. Figlat any #urther claims for <br />services rendered by any ot these parties until a full accvunting is given and approved by a <br />non-biased {read: ones who do not stand to gain) group appoint~l #o study #he legal liability of <br />the project to pay for ar~y more consul#ing fees, raises, bonuses, and commissions. Try to <br />recover atl of the $300,000. paid #o pan gerrey; all of the addi#ional salary and bonus' paid to <br />Berrey, Frey and Anderson-Wy+ckoff and Curtis. <br />Tt~en appoir~t a new public board of experts (each member of which must be free of any <br />financial ties to the project, ie., no reaI estate developers) ta examine #he down-scaled project <br />ar~d determine i#s viabili#y. Ther~ ypu wiH have a big ~ctb #o re-sett this to taxpayers.
