I~itiaily, we rec:eived from Ma~ion County a copy of the Faalities Master Pian~ dated December 1993, prepa~ed by the W.E. Group. In addi~on~ Ma~ion County provided an update to the "Space Requirement Summary" listed as Exhibit No. 3 from the above referenced report. In September of 1996, staff nom Arbuckle Costic Architects interviewed Department Heads of County Departments designated to move into Cou~thouse Square. The interview process was designed to ot~tain famil'ia~ity wfth the curretrt space planning requirements and ve~ific:ation of staff growth trends shown in the W.E. G~oup report. A four page working document, dated September 30,1996, was produced as a supplement to the programming information previousiy received. Du~ing June and July of 1997, following a review of the worki~g document by you and other County staff, interiors staff from Arbudde Costic Architects again lntervie~nred staff at each of the designated County Departments, preparatory to running a design test on tfie available office space. The resulis of this interview process are recorded in the form of rough notes as well as the preliminary space planni~g layouts produced fo~ departmental review.
