The ro ect oor inators shall review and approve <br />the Final Construction Plans an peci icarions, the preliminary General Construction Budget <br />and the preliminary Additional Project cost Budget according to the following schedule: <br />(1) The ro ect oor mators hall cause the Final Construction <br />Plans an peei ications, t e preliminary General Construction Budget and the <br />preliminary Additional Project Cost Budget to be prepared and submitted to t e ' <br />(2) The ro ect oor mators hall promptly review the Fin~l <br />Construction ans an peci ications, the preliminary General Construction Budget <br />and the preliminary Additional Project Cost Budget, the Pro ect oor mators E~e~ieiv~ <br />E~ee-shall approve or disapprove the same. If the ro ect oor mators <br />~~ee-shall disapprove of any of the foregoing, t ey hall promptly take such <br />action as may be necessary or appropriate in order to revise the disapproved item so <br />as to eliminate the reason(s) for such disapproval. <br />(3) Upon approval by the ro ect oor mators f the Final <br />Construction Plans and Speci ications, t e pre immary General Construction Budget <br />or the preliminary Additional Project Cost Budget, or any amendments or <br />modifications thereto as provided herein, the same shall not be modified or amended <br />thereafter without the approval of the Pro~ect oor mators . <br />(iii) Approval of General Construction Contract; Finalization of General Construction <br />Budget and Additional Project Cost Budget. The ro ect oor inators <br />shall review and approve the General Construction ontract prior to t e public invitation for <br />sealed bids. Upon determination that the contingencies described in Section 2.1(i) and (ii) <br />have been satisfied or waived, the General Construction Contract shall be awarded to the <br />lowest responsive and responsible bidder, and the General Construction Contract shall be <br />executed b the General Contractor and by the Parties. Thereafter, the ro ect <br />oor mators shall: <br />(1) cause to be prepared the final General Construction Budget based on the <br />Guaranteed Construction Price; and <br />(2) cause to be prepared the final Additional Project Cost Budget. <br />(iv) Change Orders. The ro ect oor mators hall review and approve <br />or disapprove any change to e enera onstruction Contract. The Project Manager shall <br />be required to submit change orders to the ro ect oor inators ogether <br />with a written explanation of the amount, i any, y w ic suc change orders will affect <br />(increase or decrease) the Project Budget (including, if applicable, the extent to which such <br />change order will affect the Guaranteed Construction Price).
