Request for Quotes <br />(Surveying Services) <br />Marion County and the Salem Area Transit District are soliciting the services of a surveyor to survey and <br />prepare legal descriptions of condominium units for the building project lrnown as Courthouse Square. <br />The project consists of 4 basic elements. They include: <br />^ An office building <br />^ Transit mall <br />^ Future building pad <br />^ Underground parking structure <br />The product must be produced in a format suitable to be included in a"Condominium Declaration"as <br />more specifically described in the condominium declaration attached to this solicitation. The scope of <br />work, i.e. ownership units, are identified in the attachments. The units are subject to change, but for the <br />purpose of this solicitation, the descriptions in this document will be used to award the contract. <br />Proposers are requested to provide the following: <br />1. The hourly rate(s) to be charged for all personnel performing work <br />2. A listing of the personnel and their job description performing project work <br />3. A short description of the methodology and equipment you will use to complete the <br />work. <br />4. The estimated number of hours needed to complete the work. <br />Pre-Response meeting/information: A tour of Courthouse Square is scheduled for Julv 17`~ at 1:30 pm <br />Attendees will convene at the Board of Commissioners Office, Marion County Courthouse, 100 High St. <br />NE. The tour is optional, but is strongly advised in order to acquaint the proposer with the scope of <br />work. A detailed set of architectural, civil and structural drawings are available for inspection in the <br />facilities management office (ph. 588-5154) in the basement of the Courthouse. The architect of record <br />is Arbuckle Costic Architects, Salem Oregon, phone 581-4114. <br />Selection Criteria: The successful proposer will be selected on the basis of a competitive hourly rate; <br />however, the county reserves the right to use other information on the proposal to make a final selecrion. <br />Proposals should be submitted to: <br />Randy Curtis <br />Marion County Courthouse <br />100 High St NE <br />Salem, Or 97301 <br />Ph.
