G. Andersen-Wyckoff <br />Marcia Kelley Tom Wolfgram <br />Melvin Mark: Craig Lewis <br />Billy Wasson called the meeting to order at 12:10 pm. <br />Agenda <br />1. Report by David Hartwig <br />2. Arbuckle-Costic Architect Contract <br />3. Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) <br />4. Housing Authority and Solid Waste Space Purchase <br />5. Development Team Report <br />6. Report by David Hartwig <br />Tom Gainer received a letter from Bruce Scherzinger that he will <br />formally respond to the reports on the remainder of the block and the Chevron <br />corner. He plans to complete the report by the end of July. He also submitted <br />a formal acceptance of the LIN report stating this requires no further action. <br />Randy Curtis asked for the status of the additional reimbursement from <br />the property and the amount in escrow. Mike Hansen noted more money was spent <br />than was put into escrow because of the contamination. There is $12,000 in <br />escrow. An effort will be made to recover additional reimbursement for <br />clean-up. <br />Randy Curtis asked if the clean up costs include the undisclosed sewer <br />problems that flooded the basement. Mike Hansen said he included that in the <br />property clean up costs, but it was not part of the escrow funds. There is an <br />additional clean-up cost of $40,000-$50,000 for removal of contaminated soil <br />and treatment of contaminated water. <br />2. Arbuckle-Costic Architectural Contract <br />R.G. Andersen-Wyckoff said he just received the letter of approval from <br />the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the contract is ready to sign. <br />However, the architect has submitted changes that may require FTA approval. <br />Peggy Mitchell noted a letter should be forthcoming from Leonard Lodder to <br />John Whittington. <br />3. Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) <br />Billy Wasson noted the Marion County Board of Commissioners and Salem <br />Area Mass Transit District Board of Directors have completed their <br />appointments to the Committee. There will be a briefing session with the CAC <br />for Friday, July 10. A separate briefing on Wednesday, July 8 will be held <br />with the political candidates for Marion County Commissioner. Both meetings <br />will be held in the Board of Commissioners conference room. Peggy Mitchell <br />noted she polled the political group members and CAC members to determine the <br />dates. <br />Billy Wasson noted a packet, similar to the one for the Marion County <br />
