So I am putting my thoughts in this <br />memo for your consideration and will be available for further discussions <br />as this effort progresses. (I have also attached my suggestions for <br />criteria that could be used by the Steering Committee to evaluate the <br />various proposalsl. <br />U~date on Detention Planning <br />I shared with you some time ago Polk County's interest in "buying bricks <br />and mortar" for their detention needs in a joint project with us (similar <br />to the way Washington County actually ou ht beds in Multnomah <br />County's new facility). <br />Since then Linn County has inquired about the same possibility.
