The steering committee has been greatly assisted in its work by Randy Curtis, Bob
McCune and Tracy Lulay of the county General Services Department, who have provided
staff work of the highest quality on an on-going basis throughout the 10 months of the
committee's existence. In addition, dozens of employees from each county department and
agency have participated in and contributed much to the committee's work.
This report contains separate Findings and Recommendations for each of the seven
subcommittee reports which were submitted to the steering committee. In addition, the
Public Works Department, which is now housed in the Senator Building and was initially
grouped with the Downtown Facilities, proposes to consolidate most public works operations
to the Public Works-Roads site on Silverton Road. Thus, a separate set of Findings and
Recommendations have been developed for Public Works.
The final section of this report sets forth the steering committee's Conclusions and
Recommendations regarding the prioritization of facilities development.
PAGE 6
ksj/cd/Facilities.Int 03/10/95
