<br />E. RECOMMENDATION <br />1. Planning should begin immediately for the eupansion of the jail and its bed <br />capacity. <br />2. Relocation of the conections administration should also be considered in order <br />to add more bed space to the Work Release Center. <br />3. At least one jail pod (150) beds, should be added in Phase I. <br />4. If state policies increase the impact on jail population, planning should include <br />a second pod as soon as possible. <br />5. This planning should attempt to meet the county's needs for the next 10 years. <br />6.
