labor, equipment, hauling costs to the Riverbend Landfill, materials and <br />incidentals to complete the work (excavation and stockpiling soil are not <br />included in this item). Disposal costs will be paid by Marion County. <br />B. Pre-existing drummed petroleum contaminated soil: <br />l. Measurement of contaminated material will be the number of 55-gallon <br />drums of contaminated material disposed of based on receipts from the <br />disposal facility. Disposal receipts shall be submitted to the Engineer. <br />2. Payment for contaminated material will be per drum and shall include all <br />labor, equipment, hauling costs to the Riverbend Landfill, materials and <br />incidentals to complete the work, including removal of drums from the <br />project site. Disposal costs will be paid by Marion County. <br />4.3 PAVEMENT REMOVAL <br />A. Payment for pavement removal is considered incidental to remedial activities and <br />no separate payment will be made. <br />4.4 CONCRETE REMOVAL <br />A. Payment for concrete removal is considered incidental to remedial activities and <br />no separate payment will be made, regardless of the depth of concrete or presence <br />of reenforcement materials. <br />4.5 UNSUITABLE MATERIAL <br />A. Measurement of unsuitable material will be the number of tons disposed of based <br />on weight tickets from the disposal facility. Weight tickets shall be submitted to <br />the Engineer by the end of each work day. <br />B. Payment for unsuitable material will be per ton and shall include all labor, <br />equipment, hauling costs, materials and incidentals required to complete the work. <br />4.6 NATIVE BACKFILL <br />A. Payment for native backfill and compaction is considered incidental to <br />underground storage tank decommissioning and no separate payment will be <br />made. <br />4.7 TANK PRODUCT <br />A. For the Liu underground storage tank, payment for tank product is considered <br />incidental to excavation, removal, decontamination and disposal of underground <br />storage tanks and no separate payment will be made. <br />Excavation <br />02221-4 <br />
