These
~NisioNS:
Business Services sala costs are more than ade uate to account for time that other
ry a
Faalities facilities staff have put in on the project.
Human Services
Information Systems
Risk Management Our telecom techs, John and Guy, will incur some additional charges this
spring when the building is wired for telecom. We assume these charges
will be billed against the telecom budget category. With the plan changes
that have occurred in recent months, I have asked Bob to review the cost
estimate for telecom equipment and installation. The revised estimate for
our work is $100,000. This does not include Electrical Contractor's pre-
work which should be in the base bid and a related change order.
I also anticipate additional charges for office dismantling, reassembly and
electrical connections in association with the moves. These costs should
be charged to the move-in-cost category. Although it is difficult to
estimate these costs since each department's need will be different, I
would suggest adding $10,000 to this category. The use of supervised
inmates can help control the cost.
~ Printed on Recycled Paper Marion County Courthouse -100 High St NE • Salem, Oregon 97301-3670
Reduce Reuse Recycle Recover www.open.org/ma~ion
